ARGH! St. Augustine is a historically-rich city with many interesting historical attractions to speak of. Unique to our city is a host of pirate-related museums, shops, and experiences you and your whole family can experience! We’ll go through all of them in this quaint ol’ pirate guide.

Pirate history is pretty interesting, and one way to experience the thrill of these ocean-riding bandits is to learn more about them! At this museum, you’ll see real pirate costumes, weaponry many used, and artifacts that were collected by the scurvy dogs.

Another way you can experience pirate hood is by dressing like one. The Pirate Store offers all sorts of pirate gear like hats, hooks, eye patches, and more! Ladies can enjoy dresses and other accessories to turn them into a woman of the past.

Unfortunately, not all ships make it to shore safely. This is evident when you visit the local Shipwreck Museum. You’ll hear the stories of pirates and modern sailors crashing their ships. For a fee of $20 per person, you can also go on a treasure hunt that will take you across St. Augustine.
