St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park
When people think of Florida, gators usually come to mind. It’s not uncommon to see these modern dinosaurs online (and floating in the ponds around the Sunshine State). While these situations can be exciting in their own right, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm offers a chance to admire these creatures in a safe and secure way.
You won’t only meet alligators at the farm, however. You’ll have the opportunity to befriend and see a menagerie of creatures from around the globe. Discover what this park has to offer you!

St. Augustine Alligator Farm Exhibits
Before you make plans to visit the park, you may want to know what exactly you’ll see when you arrive here. We’ve got a list of some of the most popular attractions on offer.
Land of Crocodiles
The most obvious exhibit has to be the crocodile and alligator section. This park doesn’t just take care of alligators that live in Florida natively. In fact, you’ll have the chance to see a Nile Crocodile from across the pond in Africa, small Chinese alligators, and even rare albino gators.
The largest beast in the park is named Maximo, a hefty 1250 pound, 15 foot long crocodile. You’ll be able to check out this monster from the safety of the underwater viewing window.
In addition to the live exhibits, you’ll also see exhibits that are dedicated to improving the lives of these creatures, and commemorating them. Explore the many paintings of the now-deceased gator Gomek, who was a huge part of the park’s history. You may learn about the conservation efforts involved in helping harmed reptiles and maintaining their exhibit homes.
Exotic Birds and Mammals
You won’t see these animals in your backyard! Say hello to primates from around the world, birds from South America, and many other inquisitive creatures.
Python Cave
Do you dare step into the cave? This exhibit displays a 21 foot long python, and demonstrates how many people it takes to lift these muscly snakes.
Zipline in St. Augustine
Want to be thrilled at the park? Nothing is more intense than ziplining over the alligator or crocodile exhibits. For an additional fee, you can give it a shot.
